Worth waiting for a table when they're busy! Food is great, staff is friendly (we've exchanged numbers & bibles with a few of them!), prices are very good for the food. One thing I've noticed that's not a negative on the restaurant, but on the patrons... people, they work for tips! They take payments with a smile, even when no tip at all. It's ridiculous these 40-60 something men in particular not leaving tips - in talking about regular diners, not new people! You'll always get a smile, a hello, & good food here!

This is a true hole in the wall location. I lived 5 minutes away for years without ever noticing it. Inside, it feels a little cramped and the decoration could be generously described as eclectic. Yellow and red on the walls do little to detract from the industrial feel with a highly exposed coffee station front and center in the room. Nevertheless, this place is a diamond in the rough. The food is the best diner food on the south side of DFW, not excluding Bishop Arts. The servers are sweet and solicitous and ready with a refill just when you didn't know you needed it (but did). The biscuits are obviously made from scratch with just a hint of sweetness. These light and fluffy clouds literally melt in your mouth. What a refreshing difference from biscuits anywhere else in the metroplex. Prices reflect the location more than the quality. My wife and I left stuffed with both coffee, tea, and juice for under 20 including tax and tip. Highly recommended.
